Broadliner becomes fourth UK distributor for Fujitsu Europe

Fujitsu Europe has expanded its distribution base by appointing Computer 2000 (C2000) as the fourth UK distributor for its imaging products.

C2000 joins broadliner Northamber and specialist distributors Headway and Dicom.

Mike Nelson, general manager sales operations, Fujitsu Europe, told CRN: “It has been our plan for some time to strengthen our broadline

distribution [strategy], because the broadline channel gives us a much wider reach into the office market.”

Nelson added: “We’re confident C2000’s expertise in broadline distribution will help us to achieve this.”

Simon Aldous, director, volume marketing at C2000, said: “We are pleased to add Fujitsu Europe to our vendor portfolio. We have seen increasing demand for document management, and are delighted to now be able to offer Fujitsu products to meet this need.”

In addition to scanner sales, Fujitsu said it will also work with C2000’s enterprise networking division, Azlan, to develop scalable document management offerings.
