A new comedy Web site called StickManSteve.com pokes fun at celebs and political figures in the spotlight.
An edgy cartoon stickman named Stickman Steve utilizes cutting humor to poke fun at public figures at the forefront of today's headlines. Now, Steve has a place to call home at his new, edgy and wit-filled Web site, StickManSteve.com. Steve has grown up watching the headlines on television and in magazines and knows the ins and outs of Hollywood.
In this day and age - where children grow up with the media as their eyes to the outside world - celebrities and politicians become easy idols. The paparazzi chase down these stars and their world is portrayed through the lens of a camera.
Stickman Steve has access to these pictures through various sources. Steve then turns around and speaks his mind about what is going on in the pictures or with the celebrities in general.
"Stickman Steve mostly states what most people are thinking but would never say," said Stickman Steve writer Megan McCarthy. "Steve has guts and doesn't care what anyone thinks about him, good or bad. He pushes the envelope, and updates his site multiple times a day. The site has daily humorous polls, quizzes, and occasional contests, and is always a good time."
Established in 1998, Yourbrain Media Inc. publishes hundreds of Web sites on the Internet in all categories. Yourbrain Media Inc. is based out of Ontario, Canada and employs five people.
"I hope it will be a new twist on celebrity watching, and catch peoples' attention," McCarthy said.
