Subscribers to SeeMeTV mobile TV can post videos on MSN Spaces
Hutchison Whampoa's 3G mobile operator, 3 UK, has signed an exclusive three-month deal with Microsoft's community portal MSN, allowing subscribers to 3's SeeMeTV service to post videos on MSN Spaces.
SeeMeTV is a mobile TV channel created and viewed by the mobile subscribers themselves.
Users can send in their own mobile videos for publication on the mobile TV channel, and 3 will even pay a few pence to the creator of the clip if it is downloaded by another subscriber.
The partnership with MSN allows SeeMeTV subscribers to send their mobile videos to MSN where they will be posted on their MSN Spaces blog.
The 10 best video clips will be posted daily on the website, with a £100 prize going to the most popular video at the end of every week and a £1,000 prize going to the most voted for clip at the end of the three months.
3 is claiming great success with its SeeMeTV service, which has achieved over four million downloads since launching in November 2005.
