Managed security services vendor adds to rapidly expanding partner base
Security services vendor BlackSpider has expanded its channel by signing on-demand managed services provider Quantix.
As a result Quantix, which has around 500 clients in various sectors including finance and banking, will be able to offer its customers BlackSpider’s range of on-demand security services.
Richard Salmon, Managing Director of Quantix, said: “Spam and viruses are always an issue for our customers; and with new viruses being released everyday, it can be a real headache for them. Managing security is a job in itself for many of our customers, so we wanted to be able to offer them a package that covered all aspects of email and web security and takes away the administration burden, particularly in regards to email security. BlackSpider’s services do just that.”
“We also wanted to partner with a company that had a strong presence in the UK and would support us on every level. Lots of companies claim to be 100 percent channel focused, but when it comes down to it many still sell direct, which ultimately causes conflict. BlackSpider’s commitment to channel partners is made perfectly clear by their comprehensive channel programme.”
“We were also attracted to a company that invests so heavily in research and development, as this means we can generate further revenue by offering the new services to our customers, as they develop. BlackSpider offers repeat year-on-year business. The company is a perfect fit for Quantix in terms of building a recurring, profitable revenue stream.”
Ian Moyse, UK Channel Sales Director, BlackSpider, said: “It’s great to be partnering with a progressive company like Quantix. The feedback we will get from them, via their customers, will feed directly in to our research and development programme; and they will expose us to even more vertical sectors.”
