Longtime channel executive Donna Troy has landed at Dell.
Troy, most recently the channel chief at SAP, started working at the Round Rock, Tex.-based vendor about three weeks ago, according to sources.
Dell confirmed Troy has been hired as an executive working with corporate accounts, which will include roles with both the channel and direct sides of the company, but said she was unavailable for immediate comment.
Troy left SAP last April, where she was executive vice president of global SME indirect channels. She worked at the enterprise software giant for nearly 3 three years and has more than 25 years experience.
Prior to SAP, she was responsible for global channel strategy, development and execution at Network Associates and was CEO and president of Partnerware, a channel management software provider. Before that, she was vice president of worldwide channels and alliances at Tivoli Systems and spent 20 years at IBM, where her positions included vice president of Global Solution Developer Alliances.
