Yahoo to provide web advertising to AT&T mobile customers
Yahoo has announced that they are renewing their deal with AT&T related to delivering advertising to their customers.
The deal would see the two companies share the revenues generated from these advertising to AT&T mobile customers.
They would now be service close to around 70 million AT&T mobile customers.
They would also be powering the search on the customer portal for AT&T Mobility along with delivering advertising to AT&T customers using internet on their devices.
Marco Boerries, executive vice president of Yahoo’s Connected Life division added about this deal: “We are actually gaining more subscribers; we are going to gain more search traffic. We are now the search engine and the advertising engine behind all of [AT&T Mobility] customers”
