Encryption software vendor appoints Channel Assist

German data encryption software vendor Steganos has appointed sales outsourcer Channel Assist to boost its presence in the UK market.

Part of Channel Assist’s brief will be to recruit new resellers.

Victoria Satterly, sales director at Channel Assist said: “We are looking for resellers that understand the security space and can differentiate Steganos data security from conventional internet security.”

Steganos claimed its encryption products are complementary to other security software, such as anti-virus or firewalls.

“We’re also interested in vertical market resellers,” Satterly added.

Channel Assist has in turn hired republisher Phoenix to handle localised manufacture of Steganos software. The products will ship through Gem and Computers Unlimited.
