More than a quarter of networking company owners say it was a good idea that got them started

Almost half (46 percent) of executives would not go into business again if they had the choice, but only the networking industry does not blame a dearth of ideas.

More than a quarter (28 per cent) of networking company owners also say that it was an innovative idea that inspired them to start their firms, compared with only 10 per cent of all the 2000-plus respondents to a survey by UK software supplier Sage.

The networking industry is more concerned about responsibility than the lack of innovation with 29 per cent saying that they are "tired of being the boss". Red tape is also a major concern by 43 per cent of networking firms and 46 per cent of respondents in total.
