Reseller lands IT infrastructure contract

VAR K3 has won a contract with stationery retail giant Ryman to replace its head office systems with Microsoft’s Dynamics-based IT infrastructure.

The deal will give 250 Ryman stores throughout the UK access to financials, inventory management and distribution applications via a single integrated system by the end of October.

Paul Makin, sales director at K3, said: “Ryman was actually only looking to replace its finance system, but ended up with an entire integration solution. The retailer noticed the importance of integration, which can sometimes be overlooked.”

He added that K3 would also be replacing Ryman’s central supply chain applications.
