Partnership will see Arc offer software asset audits to its VAR network

Virtualisation vendor AppStream has teamed up with distributor Arc Technology to launch its new software asset audit programme.

The programme will see Arc use the AppStream Inventory Management (AIM) system to carry out software asset audits for its channel partners. The firm has claimed this will enable resellers to speed up the process of measuring their software assets and provision licenses.

"Application streaming, remote working and license management are a key area of interest for the channel," explained James Munroe, division product manager at Arc Technology. "With many of our partners focusing on virtualisation and application delivery we felt that streaming was complementary to these sectors.

"Coupled with the AppStream partner programme the solutions offer a very compelling proposition for Arc's partners."
