Hosting firm Strato is offering its consumer and corporate customers new blogging tools
Web hosting specialist Strato has launched a pair of new products designed to enable users of its web hosting packages to set up and customise their own blogging sites.
EasyBlog is pre-installed as part of the EasyWeb package, and ProBlog is combined with the PowerWeb, AdvancedWeb and EnterpriseWeb offerings, according to the firm.
Corporates will be able to benefit from up to 20GB of web space, an unlimited number of authors and can choose from over 250 templates or upload their own corporate design, said Strato.
Users will also be protected with strong anti-spam tools, ensuring comments that are posted are spam-free, and also "totally free of annoying online advertisements" according to the firm's chief executive, Damian Schmidt.
"We consider weblogs as one of the most popular ways to publish content [to boost your] web presence," he explained. "With Web 2.0 there is a constant change from 'publishing' to 'participating' and with [this offering] we enable our customers to become an active part of the 'blogosphere' in an easy-to-use way."
