VAR installs point of sale system to improve football club's hospitability capabilities
VAR Triangle will supply West Bromwich Albion Football Club with a InfoGenesis point-of-sale (POS) installation at the club's Hawthorns Stadium.
Triangle will use hospitality technology vendor InfoGenesis' POS offering to improve operational effectiveness. The new offering will be in place for the official start of the football season in August.
Mark Tapling, chief operating officer of InfoGenesis, said: "We are very excited to add West Bromwich Albion Football Club to the growing list of successful InfoGenesis customers through our UK partner, Triangle. This strategic customer win provides Triangle and InfoGenesis an opportunity to showcase the key capabilities we’re offering stadium venues—enabling increased guest satisfaction, spending and aggregating key customer purchase behaviour for fact-based decision making.”
Phil Everrit, West Bromwich Albion Football Club, head of IT, said: "We are confident that the advanced touch screen terminals and wireless handheld devices that are part of our InfoGenesis POS solution will provide our hospitality executives at the Hawthorns Stadium with the tools they need to maximize guest satisfaction and optimise operations. We fully anticipate a quick and substantial return on our technology investment."
