VARS join forces to offer combined data retention and email archiving solution

IBM Premier business partner Apex Computers has partnered with Zantaz reseller Essential Computing to offer a joint data retention and email archiving solution.

The deal will see the two VARs offer a solution that they claim will give businesses a ‘reliable way’ of implementing the Zantaz Enterprise Archive solution, running on the next-generation IBM System Storage DR550 platform.

Simon Buist, business development director at Apex said: “Data storage is about far more than capacity. Businesses need to make sure they have the right tools to access data quickly and reliably – including archived data. Our experience using the DR550 solution and Zantaz has proved that a partnership with Essential is the way forward in delivering a solution that works smoothly and copes with change.”
