Vendor unveils updated partner programme

Security vendor ExaProtect has revamped its partner programme and hopes to recruit more resellers.

The firm, which specialises in security event management software, has divided its programme into six categories: managed security service providers, VARs/system integrators, consultancies, strategic alliances, training and support services.

Jason Holloway, UK country manager at ExaProtect, said: “This formalisation of our partner programme allows us to include other types of partners, such as consultancies and technology partners, which a lot of other vendors have neglected.”

Consultancy firm Atos Origin recently signed a technology and marketing alliance with ExaProtect.

Daniel Gargot, network and security services manager at Atos Origin, said: “[As a result of the partnership] our administration team is able to respond more effectively to events generated by security devices.
