Distributor signs deal with Christian book company
SAP distributor Sapphire has signed a £1.2m contract with book distributor Send The Light (STL).
Under the terms of the contract, Sapphire will supply and implement SAP’s mySAP All-in-one financial management technology for STL, a Christian books and gifts distributor, to unify its operations.
Ian Caswell, managing director of Sapphire, said: “This is a deal in one of our core markets. Charities have different requirements to most businesses. We hope this will be the start of something very big for us.”
In September last year the Church of England National Institutions chose Sapphire to implement a 120-user mySAP All-in-one system.
Dave Mells, head of IT at STL, said: “SAP put us in touch with Sapphire because it is a leader in the not-for-profit sector. We have been very happy with it.”
