VAR renews Microsoft partner status and wins a vendor award

VAR Holbrook is claiming a double victory after renewing its Microsoft Certified partner status and receiving an award from the software giant.

The Links-based firm, which provides ongoing IT network management support, received an accolade from Microsoft for its commitment in providing network infrastructure solutions.

Mike Smalley, managing director of Holbrook said: “Year on Year Microsoft raise the exacting standards we have to achieve in order to be recognised as a Certified Partmer. So it is excellent that we have also been recognised through a special award for our superiority and expertise in network infrastructure solutions.”

“It is very gratifying to be acknowledged in this way [by Microsot] and reflects the high level of technical competence and quality of customer service provided by our staff,” he said.

David Price, chairman of the Price Transport Group, a Holbrook customer, said: “We have a multi-server, Microsoft network hosting a variety of applications in our Sheffield head office and our remote depots throughout South Yorkshire.

“We do not employ any specialised IT staff, but thanks to Holbrook, we are kept up to date and operate trouble-free, due to their on-site IT management.”
