The latest version of Sunopsis’ Active Integration Platform makes it easier and faster for firms to integrate and exploit data from multiple applications
Data integration specialist Sunopsis today launched version 4.1 of its Active Integration Platform (AIP), designed to automatically integrate data and meta data from different applications and make it easier for firms to enable service-oriented architectures (SOAs).
AIP 4.1 has enhanced functionality to automatically set up a central data hub using a new common format designer, said Yves de Montcheuil director of product marketing at Sunopsis.
De Montcheuil said the new functionality would reduce the amount of manual coding needed to set up an integration platform and would allow IT staff to more quickly set up a hub capable of consolidating data and information on business events from various applications.
The data hub can then help to underpin firms' SOA efforts, according to De Montcheuil, by providing a central point from which they can take data.
A new automatic interface-generation capability also allows firms to set up data interfaces to move data between the hub and production systems, the company said.
The full platform is available now priced from $130,000 (£75,000).
