Premiere Global Services signs Pacific Computers
Communication technology vendor Premiere Global Services (PGS) is looking to broaden its Premier Partner Programme in 2006 and has signed VAR Pacific Computers.
The programme has three levels: Affiliate, Agent and Reseller. Pacific has joined the latter, most exclusive level, and will be positioned alongside another 15 Reseller partners, including Regus.
Under the terms of the agreement, Pacific’s partnership with PGS will enable it to supply the vendor’s
range of conferencing and collaboration services, which PGS claimed will enable Pacific to take advantage of continuing and stable revenues.
Jiten Kantaria, director of channel sales EMEA at PGS, said: “As a Reseller level partner it [Pacific] is much more likely to earn additional margin than partners in the other levels.”
Sam Wijeyakumar, major accounts manager at Pacific, said: “Collaboration remains a hot issue for our customers. We are continually asked for services that enable employees to connect with each other more effectively.”
Kantaria added:“We are actively recruiting and see the potential in the IT reseller space because this is quite an easy sale for them.”
