Integralis boss focused on managed services

Country manager refuses to rule out further acquisitions as the firm fixes its attention on MSSP

Integralis’ new UK country manager is determined to propel the security integrator to the top of the table in managed services.

Adrian Young, who was appointed UK country manager last week (CRN, 20 March), also revealed that the firm would not rule out further acquisitions to help fuel growth.

“Integralis has plenty of cash, and I can definitely see [acquisitions] happening. It is a question of timing and finding the right company,” he said.

Young’s job will be to work closely with Integralis’ European and US country managers to drive growth, with particular focus on the firm’s recently launched Managed Security Services Portfolio (MSSP).

Speaking to CRN, Young said: “My appointment is wrapped up in managed services. I joined as sales director with the aim of building up our sales force. That happened pretty quickly and the company has worked hard to get the MSSP offering going.

“My role now is to carry on what we have been doing, and MSSP is the fastest growing part of our business.”

Young said his job will also involve monitoring vendor partners, and to ensure that Integralis continues to develop new services based around those [vendor] products.

“We deal with about 40 vendors, but we have a core of 10. One of the most difficult jobs is to keep a handle on our vendor interaction. There are hundreds of vendors out there. One of the services we offer is to help customers understand what it is they are looking for,” he said.

Grahame Smee, managing director of distributor equIP, which has worked closely with Integralis, said: “He [Young] is a good guy and has been very supportive of equIP in the past. I’m sure he will do a great job as country manager.”
