Founder of Caladan to stay on until integration completed before taking consultancy role
Managed IT services provider hSo has acquired internet services specialist Caladan Communications for an undisclosed sum.
The company, which provides a range of services such as specialist offerings to corporate customers and hosting solutions for SMEs, will continue to trade as Caladan.
Chris Smith, founder of Caladan will continue to be involved in the business during the integration phase and will then take on a consultancy role.
Chris Evans, managing director at hSo said: “We are delighted with our acquisition of Caladan Communications, which further strengthens our position within the corporate market by bringing increased diversity to our existing customer base.
“It offers us an excellent opportunity to extend our geographic base throughout the UK, particularly within the on-line sector where Caladan is strong, while Caladan will benefit from our customer service,” he said.
