And here's one I auctioned earlier...
The BBC's flagship Blue Peter programme is planning to change the way it awards its famous badges after it was revealed that some winners have been putting their prizes up for sale on eBay.
Blue Peter awards its five different types of badges to youngsters for a variety of reasons, from good letter-writing to heroic acts such as saving a life.
However, the badges are proving a popular auction item on eBay because holders get free entry to many museums and national attractions.
The BBC will now issue genuine badge holders with cards to prove that any person who owns a badge is the rightful owner.
Blue Peter editor Richard Marson said: "We know how hard children work to earn a badge, and we are doing our best to try and ensure that this long-standing Blue Peter institution is not undermined."
A standard badge had reached £127 on eBay yesterday, while a job lot of four badges was running close to £200 last night.
One of the sellers openly acknowledged being a "bad, bad person" for selling the item, and even exploited the fact that the winner would be "in good company " alongside other badge holders such as The Queen, David Beckham and Madonna.
The five different types of badges are Blue (interesting letters, good ideas, stories, poems, pictures and for having appeared on the programme); Silver (doing something different from what you did to win your blue badge); Green (letters and pictures with a conservation theme); Gold (outstanding achievements like saving somebody's life); and Competition (winners of Blue Peter competitions).
