IT services company Atos Origin is working with ExaProtect to help firms control risks and ensure security
IT services and outsourcing giant Atos Origin bolstered its security capabilities today by signing a technology and marketing alliance with security event management software specialist ExaProtect.
Under the deal Atos Origin will integrate ExaProtect's technology for analysing and tracking security events with its own managed security services offering.
The two companies said ExaProtect's technology would allow Atos Origin to offer its customers improved capabilities for security risk and compliance management.
They predicted that integrating the technology should pose few problems following several recent projects where the two companies have co-operated, including a major implementation of a security management system for France's Ministry of Labour.
ExaProtect's security management systems can gather security information from third-party systems and assess their status against business rules. This helps firms to ensure security complies with internal policies and can cope with current threats.
The company said in a statement, "This intelligence gives the organisation a real-time, end-to-end, prioritised view of the behaviour and security status of key business assets."
