Market leading UK supermarket retailer says farewell to group IT director

We have learned that Tesco group IT director Colin Cobain is leaving the company.

"Colin is seeking a new challenge outside Tesco and we're thankful for his significant contribution to the IT infrastructure at Tesco and wish him well for the future," said a spokesman for the company.

Cobain has worked to enable Tesco’s ongoing growth and consolidation over the last year including expansion plans to the US.
