Siemens IT Solutions and Services introduces SAP projects at WAZ and Spiegel

Munich - Siemens IT Solutions and Services is introducing the software program “mySAP CRM” at the Hamburg-based “Der Spiegel” publishing house to handle its subscriber management. By implementing the system, the magazine hopes to optimize customer loyalty and increase customer value and satisfaction. The Siemens Group has also implemented two applications at the Essen-based WAZ Media Group. With the SAP NetWeaver and Business Warehouse-based systems, WAZ now has optimal information transparency and an improved basis for planning.

“Der Spiegel” magazine will use the new software for marketing and campaign management, customer analysis and to address selected subscribers. In the future, the publishing house will be in a better position to inform subscribers about the other products they offer. They will also have a unified view of marketing activities and be able to evaluate them more accurately. Siemens IT Solutions and Services is implementing the new solution at the publishing house’s head office in Hamburg, thereby upgrading the existing SAP solution to include additional functions.

Siemens introduced applications in the central accounting department at the Essen-based WAZ Group for liquidity planning, fund planning and controlling on the basis of SAP NetWeaver, SAP Business Warehouse Release 7.0 and SAP BW. The web-based solutions improve transparency and ensure the basis for corporate decisions is available more quickly.
