Hyderabad IT Summit 2008 – with main focus area as "Empowering IT with world class infrastructure" will be held in city as a three-day meet from March 20th – 22nd 2008, at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC).

The Summit is being organised by Information Technology and Communications (IT&C) Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh in association with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) will bring together a galaxy of national and international visionaries, experts from top institutions, cutting edge technology companies and major investors along with the existing and upcoming infrastructure developers and policy makers to have high level dialogue and interaction. The event is supported by Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA), Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM), Manufacturers’ Association for Information Technology (MAIT) and Electronic Industries Association of Andhra Pradesh (ELIAP).

International and Domestic exhibitors comprising of Software companies, IT, ITES and BPO companies, Infrastructure developers, Facility management services providers, core services providers in the areas of Telecom, IT Management Services etc. Banks and financial institutions etc. are expected to participate at the event. The summit will focus on emerging trends in global IT industry and infrastructure demands in the current phase of developments. It will also widely address the IT infrastructure needs of large businesses and small to mid-sized enterprises.

Hyderabad IT Summit 2008 will be an international exhibition on infrastructure development and investment opportunities. It will focus on empowerment of IT with top class infrastructure and a blend of international and domestic presence. The summit offers opportunities for interactive forums, discussion areas, business networking opportunities, panel discussions, networking lunches and dinners etc. it will be unique platform for infrastructure developers and investors to meet, discuss, compare and evaluate various investment opportunities in India and abroad.
